Built-in REST API.

Inventec’s 5GC platform adopts HTTP API based on the REST protocol to easily expose the internal statuses of the platform. This makes the 5GC solution extremely suitable for integration with external corporate application , interface, interface and interface.

Main advantages and usage cases.
Deploying private mobile network on corporate edges using Inventec 5GC can ensure that enterprises have complete ownership of all data. Deploying the packet core instance near the service device does not require cloud connection capabilities to provide high-quality data service and the following application advantages for clients:

  • Machine to machine automation - The Ultra reliable low latency connection capability(uRLLC)is used on automated systems(control message, such as robots or automated guide vehicles). These messages can be processed in real-time to prevent stopping, and can further increases productivity.
  • Massive IoT telemetry - Secure cloud connections that collect data from large amounts of IoT sensors and devices. The data from health condition evaluations and automated systems can be processed in real-time to avoid accidents and ensure on-site safety.
  • Real-time analysis - Native processing of real-time operations and diagnostic data. For example, real-time video summary can be processed at edge with AI at low cost to ensure important actions will not be delayed.
Packet core architecture.

Inventec’s 5G Core is a system that has the packet core architecture; it is a cloud-native implementation of 5G new generation core(5G NGC or 5GC)defined by the 3GPP standard. Packet core instances authenticate terminal devices, and aggregate, control and manage the data traffic on the 5G standalone radio and access technologies. 5G packet core instances all include the following functional components:

  • High performance(25 Gbps load maximum)and highly programmable 5G user plane function(UPF).
  • Core control plane functions include policy and subscriber management.
  • Service-based architecture portfolio.
  • Network surveillance management components.
Supported 5G network functions.
  • AMF(Access and Mobility Management Function).
  • Session Management Function(SMF).
  • User Plane Function(UPF).
  • Policy Control Function(PCF).
  • Authentication Server Function(AUSF).
  • Unified Data Management(UDM).
  • Unified Data Repository(UDR).
Supports verification and secure content management for the following user equipment(UE).
  • Authenticates using subscription account persistent identifier(SUPI), 5G globally unique temporary identity(5G-GUTI)and(UES).
  • Authenticates using international mobile subscriber identity(IMSI)and globally unique temporary identity (GUTI of 4G UES).
  • 5G authentication and key agreement(5G-AKA)for mutual authentication between 5G UE and the network.
  • Evolved packet system authentication and key agreement(EPS-AKA)for mutual authentication between 4G UE and the network.
  • The packet core instance will perform encryption and integrity protection for the 5G non-access stratum(NAS). During US registration, UE includes the 5G NAS security functions with a 128-bit key.
Inventec’s 5G Core supports the following algorithms to perform encryption and integrity protection.
  • 5GS Null encryption algorithm.
  • 128-bit Snow3G.
  • 128-bit advanced encryption system(AES)encryption.
5G network slicing.
Inventec’s 5GC can provide standalone QoS and security for the different application services of users, and provide enhanced throughput and lower latency so that the applications of users can provide operations and meet the corporate standards at their respective service levels without being interfered by other services.
