Inventec’s 5G team presented 5G AI smart manufacturing and digital transformation solutions.

At Microsoft’s “Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Sustainability and Innovation Forum”, Inventec’s 5G team presented 5G AI smart manufacturing and digital transformation solutions. Inventec developed O-RAN–based indoor and outdoor O-RU antenna and O-RAN DU/CU servers as well as software services, providing factories with 5G communication coverage to connect IoT data. Inventec integrated applications and services such as AR, AI, remote collaboration, smart inspection, and facial recognition, and it utilized the digital twin technology to present production information and device status in the virtual world in real time. In addition, Inventec integrated environmental monitoring cameras and a real-time anomaly detection system, using a visualized interface to assist production management in real time, upgrading conventional factories to the new level of smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and IoT. 

Inventec’s subsidiary AIMobile Co., Ltd. demonstrated a facial recognition solution that had been implemented at Inventec’s 5G smart factory in Taoyuan. On vast production lines, AIMobile used cameras to screen production line operators whose presence was unregistered and illegal. It also used facial recognition as an alternative to swiping ID cards, thereby upgrading production line security.
